WHAT: Our Membership Meeting is scheduled early this year and in place of an Annual Conference. Please note that we will be working towards scheduling an Annual Conference for 2014.
WHO: Anyone who is a current member of MCASV can attend this meeting without cost.
WHERE: The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Downtown located at 22 North Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday, October 23rd.
AGENDA: Meeting registration will begin at 8:30am on Tuesday, October 22nd and meeting will conclude at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 23rd. Meeting agenda will be sent out early September.
FEATURED TRAINING: We are excited to Travis Burdick and BaLeigh Harper present on Power Up, Speak Out! Young people deserve healthy, violence-free relationships, but are often left on their own to figure out how to develop them. Bullying is rampant, and as shocking as it sounds, 20% of teens will experience violence in their dating relationships. Power Up, Speak Out! provides educators in rural areas with a program that is well designed, easy to implement and aligns with state curriculum content standards and mandates, and gives young people the tools and critical thinking skills they need to learn how to have healthy relationships and prevent bullying, harassment and violence. Participants will receive a free Power Up, Speak Out! toolkit to use in their communities.
LODGING: The meeting and a block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Downtown located at 22 North Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601. Reservations made before Thursday, September 26th will receive the state rate of $83 plus tax for single occupancy and $93 plus tax for double occupancy.

MCADSV will be providing a small continental breakfast each morning of the meeting. Attendees will be responsible for all other meals, mileage and lodging expenses.
